Last Update : February 28, 2017

Figs, an added element for a daring and bold romantic meeting

Figs are a great aphrodisiac fruit with a very suggestive colour, a voluptuous shape and a exclusive texture to the tongue.
Greek wisdom considered this sensual fruit a source of love and fertility. A fact probably associated with the habit of some European countries to throw figs instead of rice in weddings.

Despite it being commonly compared to the female genitalia, figs are a great source for health benefits. Its high content in fiber calcium, potassium, magnesium, copper and iron represent a great protection against breast and colon cancer.

Inside the privacy of the room legend has it that eating a fresh fig while naked in front of a woman is one of the world’s most erotic acts. A great way of spicing up your date adding boldness and excitement.

The sexual nature of this fruit was also immortalised by the poet D.H.Lawrence in his poem dedicated to this luscious fruit :
« The proper way to eat a fig, in society,
Is to split it in four, holding it by the stump,
And open it, so that it is a glittering, rosy, moist, honied, heavy-petalled four-petalled flower.
But the vulgar way
Is just to put your mouth to the crack, and take out the flesh in one bite. »

This dry fruit can be eaten throughout the world and it is known (due to its high levels of amino acids) for increasing libido and sexual stamina. If you are planning a daring date with a romantic touch, this little fruit will be your best ally.

Put a fig in your life and this little fruit will highten all your senses !
